About the center
The Center for Computation, Modelling and Simulation (CCMS) at IISER Thiruvananthapuram was established in 2014 as a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Frontier Areas of Science and Technology (FAST) via a scheme funded by MHRD. It is a multi-disciplinary research center based on High Performance Computing (HPC). The center aims to pursue cutting-edge research in all areas of science and impart quality training to students in the use of the HPC technology in solving modern day research problems.
